Dr. Emily Dean has always been passionate about caring for other people. While obtaining her Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, Dr. Dean’s interest in the eye care industry started to grow. After graduating in 2012, Dr. Dean went to Illinois College of Optometry to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry.

Dr. Dean completed 4 clinical externships during her schooling, focusing on primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Now Dr. Dean focuses on myopia control and aesthetic optometry, including IPL skin treatment.

Dr. Dean loves being able to work with and help her lovely patients in a field that is interesting and ever-evolving. 

In her spare time, Dr. Dean enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her husband, Matt, and their yellow lab, Hugo.

Dr. Lindsay McCauley started with our practice in 2009. During her time at Robert E. Cook Honors College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she met a young nursing major whose father urged her to explore optometry. In 2009, Dr. McCauley graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. 

Dr. McCauley completed externships with Associates in Ophthalmology and Seidenberg Protzko Ophthalmology. She is particularly interested in cataract co-management, multifocal contact lenses, pediatric vision, and binocular vision. 

Friendly and caring, Dr. McCauley finds her daily work incredibly rewarding. Her patients are like family, and being able to chat with each one of them and learn about their lives and families is her favorite part of the job.

When Lindsay isn’t at the office, you might find her traveling the world, cooking up a storm, or spending time with her lovely family of 3 young boys.

Dr. Caitlin “Caity” McCauley has been interested in optometry since she was 15. In high school, she started at her family practice as an optometric assistant and never looked back. 

Dr. McCauley graduated top 10 in her class at Ohio State University, first in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science and then in 2007 with her Doctorate of Optometry. She completed rotations in ocular disease and contact lenses, as well as externships at the Dayton VA Medical Center and with LASIK specialists in Canton, Ohio. 

With a particular interest and passion for pediatric vision, Dr. McCauley remains the practice’s resident authority on children’s eye care, including myopia control. Supporting and interacting with her incredible patients brings Dr. McCauley a strong sense of fulfillment in her work. 

When she’s not hard at work in the office, you can find Caitlin cheering on the Buckeyes, out for a run, or spending time with her 3 boys, Henry, Charlie, and Richie.

Aesthetic Laser & Light-Based Technology Specialist 

Clinic Application Specialist  

Brittany Oliver is our clinical applications and laser specialist who performs all of our aesthetic treatments. She has been working in the medical aesthetics field since 1998, beginning her career working for a plastic surgery practice. While there, she received personalized training with the first FDA cleared IPL technology, Photoderm by Lumenis. 

Since then, Brittany has gained experience using many laser, light-based, ultrasound, and cryolipolysis devices for medical aesthetic solutions. In addition to performing treatments, she is also a clinical trainer for aesthetic devices. Educating and helping others flourish in the aesthetic industry is a passion. Currently, Brittany holds a National Clinical Trainer position for Lumenis. 

Brittany enjoys creating meaningful, memorable experiences for her patients. Fostering patient relationships is something she values dearly.
