How Does SmoothGlo Work?
SmoothGlo is a 2-part treatment in a single session, with an optional final step adding triLift for our triGlo service.
The first part is an IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment. It’s a light-based therapy that generates warmth to stimulate new proteins in the skin. IPL therapy also treats red and brown discolorations in the skin.
The second part is RF microneedling, a combination of radiofrequency therapy and microneedling. Energy generated by radio waves is channeled into the skin through micro-injuries. A natural healing response triggers new cell growth, repairing skin tone and structure.
Before your treatment, our provider may apply a topical numbing cream to improve your comfort. We’ll thoroughly cleanse the treatment area, then apply a cold coupling gel to the skin. The gel helps the light transmit more effectively and keeps the skin cool during treatment.
Next, our provider will glide the IPL’s handpiece over the treatment area to perform the IPL procedure. Afterward, we’ll gently clean and dry the treatment area gently.
The next step is RF microneedling. Our provider uses a new, disposable tip with ultra-thin electrodes that they’ll apply to your skin.
Once the treatment is done, we’ll apply a refreshing cooling mist to help you relax and keep your skin hydrated.
triLift Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt) activates the muscles safely and effectively with electrical stimulation. This causes the muscles to expand and contract, enabling specific muscle targeting for a toned and lifted look.

What Is Recovery Like?
